A perfectly balanced spot to sit in on the Civ 6 Tier List. Otherwise perfectly fine for winning games.ī Tier: Civs with clear strengths and clear weaknesses. However, there is a breakpoint that the S tier ones don’t have. S Tier: is the bracket where the best Civs for specific win conditions sit.Ī Tier: Civs in this bracket are perfectly fine. Please be aware the Civs rankings are in no particular ordering per tier. There is much more flexibility to adapt a civ in a game, as they tend to have a main victory focus and a secondary focus to adapt if needed. ![]() ![]() Also, the Civ 6 Tier List presumes you have access to all available content.Ĭiv 6 civilizations have specialities on a final note, but they are not as hardcore as Civ 5 design. Instances like this will are taken into account and are reflected on the tier list. In some instances, Civilizations like Alexander the Great have relation boosters with warring factions, making it more of a single-player civ rather than a multiplayer trait. It is worth mentioning that this Civ 6 Tier List encompasses both multiplayer and single player. By doing so, it will become clear which of the civilizations rank the best, moving further down into other brackets, the more weaknesses become apparent, or their strengths are not as strong as others. I guess any UD is good to an extent simply due to the production saved. The Civ 6 Tier List will look through the strengths and weaknesses of each of the available civs and rulers in the game. Hill tiles are awesome and you want a lot of them, oftentimes you'll have an otherwise decent city location with only a couple hills, and having to use one of them for the Acropolis would suck. Greece as a whole aside, the Acropolis seems like one of the worst UDs simply because of the hill limitation. ![]() #Civilization 6 tier list free#Between early game wars and raging barbarians I usually end up having to build up my military more than I'd like on higher difficulties (and the free military policy is awesome for that since you can slot unit prod bonus and barb combat bonus at the same time). Maybe someone will come up with some optimal tight city clustering strategy though, certainly seems possible.ĬS bonus seems potentially useful given that conquering city states is a lot better, but I think Germany is better focused on building up their infrastructure early, though it might've been different if they had a decent UU. I think Hansa and Free Imperial Cities actually kind of conflict with each other because having the no-brainer district that you're going to build everywhere not count to your limit already basically gives you a free district, you're probably not going to be building 4 districts in a city with 4 pop. Hansa is just so, so good, the adjacency bonuses are usually worth 2-3 production over a regular Ind Zone and then you also save a bunch of hammers building it and it doesn't count towards the district cap. Came in ready to complain if Germany (or at least Hansa) wasn't near the top. ![]()
